Florida Roof Cost ("we," "us") runs floridaroofcost.com, an independent guide that also connects Florida homeowners with licensed roofing contractors. This policy explains what we collect when you use the site, why, who we share it with, and how to access or delete it. We are not a roofing contractor.

What we collect

• Information you give us. When you fill out our quote form ("Get quotes"), you provide your name, email, phone number, ZIP code, and details about your roof — its type, the problem, your timeline, and your city. If you email us, we receive whatever you write.
• Information collected automatically. When you submit the form we record your IP address and browser type, along with a timestamp, to help prevent abuse and document your request. Our host (Cloudflare) keeps standard server logs.
• Consent certification (TrustedForm). Our quote form runs TrustedForm, a third-party script from ActiveProspect that records your interaction with the form to document your consent to be contacted. It generates a certificate we store with your request. See ActiveProspect's own privacy terms for how that service works.

How we use it

• To match you with up to three licensed Florida roofing contractors for your project.
• To contact you about your request, and to let the matched contractors contact you.
• To document your consent to be contacted (the TrustedForm certificate).
• To operate and protect the site — spam filtering, security, and internal alerts to our team.

Who we share it with

The point of the quote form is to hand your request to roofers, so:

• Licensed roofing contractors. We share your request with up to three licensed Florida roofing contractors matched to your project. They may pay us a referral fee. They are independent businesses and use your information under their own privacy practices.
• Service providers. We use vendors to run the site and its alerts — Cloudflare (hosting and our lead database) and Resend and Telegram (to notify our team of a new request). They process data on our behalf.

We do not sell your information to unrelated advertisers, and we don't share it beyond what's described here except when required by law.

Cookies and tracking

The site keeps tracking to a minimum. We don't run advertising trackers. The TrustedForm script on the quote form is the main third-party element, and it exists to record consent, not to serve ads.

How long we keep it

We keep your request and its consent certificate as long as we need them to provide the service and meet legal obligations. You can ask us to delete your information sooner — see below.

Your choices and rights

• Access or delete. Email [email protected] to see, correct, or delete the information we hold about you. We'll respond within a reasonable time.
• Stop calls and texts. Reply STOP to a text, tell a contractor to stop, or email us to withdraw the consent you gave on the form. Note that contractors you were already matched with are separate businesses; ask them directly too.

Children

The site is meant for homeowners and isn't directed to anyone under 18. We don't knowingly collect data from children.

Changes

We may update this policy; we'll change the date above when we do. Material changes will be posted here.
